Submitting Bug Reports

Here are general guidelines and tips for submitting a bug report:

• Make sure nobody has reported the bug already by searching the bug database for the same problem.
• Use English when reporting bugs.
• Only report one problem in each bug report. If you report multiple related problems, you can use bug dependencies to connect the bugs to each other.
• Don't report bugs on versions that have already been replaced by a bugfix release. For more information on version numbering, see download page.

When submitting a bug, please include at least the following information:

• Your Operating System (WindowsNT, Linux, ...)
• JDK Version (1.3.1, 1.4...)
• Servlet container version (Tomcat 4.0, Sun ONE, ...)
• Web browser version
• Symptoms, detailed description
• Stack trace from the console (if available)
• Steps to reproduce the bug

When you send a bug report below, the report will be automatically sent to the developer list. Any updates, comments and corrections are reported to you by e-mail automatically.
